The Plush Care Card
Two pages. Letter size. Prints clean in black and white.
What's on it
Page 1 — washing. The 60-second check before a plush goes anywhere near water, how to tell machine wash from hand wash from surface clean, step-by-step for each, and the drying rules that decide whether it comes out soft or matted.
Page 2 — everything else. A stain chart for grease, ink, blood, mud, milk and mildew. Four ways to freshen a plush without washing it at all. The six things that damage a plush permanently. And how to store one you're keeping for years.
The one thing most people get wrong
Brushing. Wash it however you like — but if you don't brush the fur out while it's still slightly damp, it dries stiff and matted, and brushing later never fully fixes it. Fur sets in whatever position it dries in.
We're Happydandis. We make plush that get sent as gifts, with a handwritten note in the box. 10% of what we make supports education in underserved communities in Nigeria.
