Every box carries someone's words

Someone has been on your mind. Maybe she moved away. Maybe he's having a rough month. You've meant to say something, and a text felt too small.

Happydandis is for that moment. You say what you want to say in a note, and you pick a plush to carry it. It sits on their desk or their nightstand and reminds them of what you wrote, every time they look at it.

The note says it. The plush makes it stay.

Why you can't buy a plush here without a note

You can buy a plush anywhere. We'd rather you didn't buy one from us unless you have something to say.

Every box we send carries someone's words. Take the words out and it's just a parcel.

So the note isn't an extra. It's required. If you're stuck, we'll help you find the words. One true line is enough.

Find the words

It started with a giraffe

One evening I was sketching animals with my daughter, and we drew a giraffe together. She gave it a name, added her own touches, and asked, "Dad, can we make this real?"

So we did. The first Happydandis plush was that giraffe.

Then we started sending them to people, and we noticed something. People loved the plush, but what they talked about most was how the note made them feel. The words were the gift. The plush was what kept the words in the room.

That's what Happydandis became: a way to send someone a note when they've been on your mind. You write it. We put it on a keepsake card, exactly as you wrote it. A plush carries it to their door in a gift box.

Three things we don't compromise on

Your words, exactly as you wrote them

We never edit, shorten or tidy a note. What you type is what goes on the card. If you're stuck, Find the words will get you started, but the words are always yours.

The plush is built to stay

About 11 inches, weighted so it sits upright on a shelf or desk—giving them something to keep close long after they’ve read your note.
